Meditation Reflect deeply on the following throughout this day: As you progress throughout these 31 days or however long it takes you to complete the plan, the critical question of your heart and mind will probably be, “when will I witness a breakthrough?” How many times have we heard sisters and brothers declare "I'm waiting on my breakthrough from the Lord!" How often do we witness them waiting year after year for one that never seems to come? Know this, the new man nature would not allow us to become stuck in neutral by longing for something year after year. When we are dealing with the mother load of situations, our inclination is to think that a pious laboring before the Lord means that we are operating under the impetus of faith, when we are actually operating out of fear. That fear is so deeply rooted in our psyche that it blocks us from receiving the results we desire. Our work is to get ourselves unblocked. The only way to find the answers to any of your life’s questions is to dig deep within your own soul; because failure, disappointment, or a seemingly unanswered prayer in any shape, form, or fashion is impossible when the love of God is wholly manifested. We wait for an answered prayer year after year because we are focusing on the external...the new car, home, job, relationship, etc. The questions and answers to our soul’s desire will always lead us back to the work that must be done on the inside. When our inside is bountiful the outside will follow.
